Create Adobe Flash Application with SCCM 2012

In Configuration Manager 2012, one way to update Adobe Flash Player  is by using the MSI download from the Adobe Website.
The .MSI and the .EXE can be downloaded at http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
If you are looking to find the Flash Version you are currently using you can go to >>> http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html
If you scroll down on the Adobe Flash Download page you will find the current version, in this case Flash Player 11.8.800.174 for Windows Internet Explorer. If you are running a plug-in based browser such as Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape, Opera etc.. you can download the MSI for those browser based plug-in’s as well:


Alternatively, if you are using SCUP you can download the catalog and assign the flash update.
In Configuration Manager 2012, go to Software Library, Applications, Create Application..

Browse to the directory of the downloaded Adobe Flash .MSI file and select the file, Click Next.
















As you can see in the picture below, the Application Information successfully imported from the windows installer (Native) file, Click Next..














The next screen provides the opportunity to enter in additional information about the Application, the Name and Installation program fields are filled in with information within the.MSI package. If additional command line switches are needed this is where you enter them. Click Next:

Confirm your settings and Click Next:


















The Success Page shows that the application has been created, you may now close theCreate Application Wizard:
